About Us
Spark Little Minds
Our Story
Spark Little Minds started around a kitchen table crowded with questions. One of us has two boys, six and three, and most days their house runs on “why.” Why do stars need clouds? Why does soap make bubbles? Why does the moon follow the car? Some days it’s a lot to keep up with. Most days, though, it means something good - two very small people, wide awake to the world.
That’s the moment this brand was built from. Not a business plan, a promise that a child’s curiosity would never run out of places to go, even on the days ours did.
Turns out we weren’t the only ones who felt that way. When we asked the people who buy from us what brought them here, the answers surprised even us.
More than half weren’t parents at all - they were grandparents, buying for a grandchild deep in the exact stage we knew well. About one in four described that child as “curious” or “inquisitive,” without us ever putting the word in front of them. This wasn’t a purchase people made out of worry. It was one made out of pride.
So that became the whole point of Spark Little Minds: bring kids the kind of books that keep that spark going - the questions, the wonder, the “tell me more.” Some we’ve written ourselves. Some we’ve found because they already do it beautifully. Either way, the bar is the same: does it make a curious kid even more curious?
Whether it’s a mom keeping the momentum going after bedtime, or a grandparent handing over something better than another toy, that’s what every book under Spark Little Minds is chosen or made for - a kid who keeps asking why is a kid worth celebrating.
